The MBA’s Secretary General, Karol Gabarretta, was invited by Hon. Dr Alfred Sant M.E.P., to discuss the Banking Union in the programme Temi Maltin u Ewropej. The programme is one of a series of broadcasts produced by Dr Sant which explore thematic issues of a European and local nature and their impact on Malta’s society and economy. Presenter Kevin Mercieca hosted the programme which was transmitted on the TV station FLiving on the 21st June 2023. Mr Gabarretta’s interventions focused on various aspects arising from the implementation of the Banking Union in Europe with a special emphasis from the perspective of the local banking sector.
