Mr Mark Drago (HSBC) in his capacity as Chair of the Standing Committee on Financial and Cyber Crime & Fraud recently set up by the MBA, was invited to participate in last Saturday’s edition (10th June 2023) of the news programme Resume’, hosted by presenter Fiorella Pace on TVMi. Mr Drago’s intervention focused on various aspects arising from the ever increasing resort by persons with criminal intent to defraud users of bank digital banking services through diverse types of financial fraud and scams. Mr Drago’s contribution also highlighted the importance of customers exercising due scepticism and caution when faced with attempts to defraud them as experienced locally over the last few months.
