The MBA’s Chairman Marcel Cassar was recently the guest speaker at the November event of the Malta Business Network. Delivering a presentation on “The banking industry in Malta: between perception and reality”, he also spoke in his current dual role as CEO of APS Bank p.l.c. In his address Mr Cassar focused mainly on the role of the core domestic banks, their contribution to the Maltese economy and addressed a number of issues that affect the banks’ attitude to risk.
This event was organised by Mr Joseph Zammit Tabona, Chairman and Founder of the Malta Business Network, and ended with an active Q&A session. Mr Cassar commented: “It was a pleasure to address and meet with such a distinguished gathering from the business community, local and international, who all share Malta as a common interest.”
