The MBA’s Secretary General, Karol Gabarretta, was invited to participate in one of the panel discussions held as part of the conference organised in Athens on the 6th October, by the Hellenic Bank Association (HBA) on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of its foundation. The panel discussion, which was moderated by the EBF’s Gonzalo Gasos, dealt with the Banking Package 2023 (the EU’s implementation of the revised Basel III framework). Mr Gabarretta’s intervention and focus was on providing local context and perspectives arising from the future execution of the ‘Package’.
