As you are no doubt aware, the situation in Ukraine is indeed a dire one. Over 2.5 million refugees have fled the country and this number is expected to increase significantly in the immediate future.
The Malta Bankers’ Association (MBA) and its member banks, together with a number of local business and professional organisations, have embarked on a joint initiative to support charities that are raising funds to assist refugees resulting from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and to highlight such initiative to their members, staff and clients as the case may be.
Donations can be made to Caritas Foundation Malta using the following bank account details and quoting the following reference in the payment details: ‘BPURF’ (which stands for Business and Professions for Ukraine Refugees Fund).
